I found yoga about 12 years ago when I took my first class as a stressed out 20-something living in London. I was hoping for nothing more than a bit of exercise and certainly didn’t bargain for a complete life change. It took a few classes before I began to feel the benefits but over time I started to feel freer in my body, less stressed and generally just more balanced. Yoga offers something for everyone, not just the super bendy! Whatever your motivation, the practice of yoga can help you develop strong, healthy, flexible bodies. Combining the yoga postures with regulated breathing can also develop calmer, more focused minds.
