Are you a Beginner to exercise or gym classes? If so, we have your back, you can find the most suitable classes here, find one you like the sound of, we can't wait to see you there.

All beginners should start carefully, we have a range of gym classes that we know to be perfect for those starting from the very beginning, or re learning what they once knew.

Fire:

This class is focused on technique.  We use a mix of kettlebells, dumbbells and suspension trainers (trx) to build strength in a controlled manor. You'll feel the burn under a watchful eye of our best PT's who have all the tools to guide you safely through an effective strength workout. This is a slower paced class, perfect for finding your feet at Fitlife.

Spin - Hiit & Hills:

This is our traditional spin class. Meaning we don't focus on the data or how hard you push, we focus on having the time of your life on a bike. All of our instructor team are experts in welcoming first timers into spin and will help you set up your bike, teach you how to use the resistance dial correctly and make sure you're comfortable before the class begins. Even if you just want to sit and enjoy the studio without peddling, that's cool with us. Zero judgement, ever!

Pilates:

Mat based pilates is a perfect low impact way to strengthen your core, improve balance and increase mobility. Nigel is our resident pilates instructor He's not only the fittest 57 year old you'll ever meet, but also the nicest man in the entire world. So rest assured, you'll be made to feel nothing but welcome from the moment you walk in.

Flow:

Flow is Fitlife's yoga class. Yoga has become a big part of Fitlife, largely down to Philippa who has been an instructor at Fitlife since day 1. She has over 10 years of experience and the reason we love her so much is her relaxed approach and relatable character. She has a way of making you feel relaxed even if holding a downward dog makes you shake in places you didn't know existed. We have followed this yoga teacher ethos throughout and all of our instructors are incredibly beginner friendly.

Small Group Training

If you're looking for something more specific, we run 4 week workshops for small groups every quarter that are perfect for gym beginners.

Ride foundations:

An in depth learning experience about all things spin. You'll go from beginner spinner to power pro in 4 sessions over 4 weeks.

Ladies that lift:

A gym based weight training workshop for females. These 4 sessions teach you how to perform fundamental gym exercises safely. The course is designed to give you all the confidence you need to walk into the gym yourself and workout without fear.

Man power:

A gym based weight training workshop for males. These 4 sessions teach you how to perform fundamental gym exercises safely. The course is designed to give you all the confidence you need to walk into the gym yourself and workout without fear.
