We couldn't be more excited to welcome you all back to FitLife on Saturday 25th July but first of all, we owe you a huge thank you for all of your patience, kind words and support over the last 4 months. The love is real!!
I am sure you all have a few questions with how you can access the gym safely and so here is our best effort to give you all of the details you need to feel confident and comfortable on your first visit.
(Please don't hate on us for how formal this all sounds. We promise you will still be loving your life the FitLife way when you walk back through those doors!)
All memberships will be unfrozen from 25th July.
Those on monthly DD will return to their usual bill date.
Those on annual membership will have 4 months added to their renewal date.
For any queries about your membership please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must pre book a time to visit both the gym and classes via the FITSENSE app.
Bookings open 7 days in advance for both classes and gym access.
You must download/update the latest version of FITSENSE.
In the booking section of the app you'll see a tab in the top left hand corner. You can select 'club' for gym bookings or 'class' for class bookings.
We will operate a strict 2 hour cancelation window.
To download the FITSENSE app search for 'FITSENSE' in the app store.
Large acrylic screen and hand sanitiser will be placed at the front of house area. Please use the hand sanitiser upon entry to the club.
Our pre-booking system means that we can limit the number of people arriving at any given time and avoid congestion at the front desk/Fuel Bar.
We will be taking the temperature of every visitor using a thermometer gun. If you have a high temperature or are feeling unwell you will be refused entry.
We will be taking cashless payment only.
The seating area in the fuel bar will be off-limits for the time being and we will be asking people to wait for classes outside the building, to ensure the front desk area is kept as clear as possible. You can pre order your shakes and coffees before your session and they'll be waiting for you on exit.
Showers will be available but we strongly encourage you to use your shower at home.
Lockers will be in use so that you can bring minimal personal items into the gym with you.
We are running a modified timetable from the 25th July. All classes will be on Banks park just outside the gym.
We will operate a no contact policy – despite our excitement at seeing you all again, there will be no hugs or high fives!
For mat-based classes, please bring your own mat.
We have scheduled a changeover window between classes to ensure all kit and touchable surfaces are thoroughly cleaned after each session.
Our new indoor cycling studio is only a few weeks away from being ready so unfortunately it won't be in play for the 25th July.
Access to the gym is by pre booking only.
We will have an extensive supply of top-grade hygiene products available throughout the gym and we are strictly enforcing individual responsibility with equipment wipe down post use. Please don’t be the one caught out walking away from unclean equipment!
We are increasing the frequency of deep cleans from our professional cleaning provider as well as a 15 minute changeover window between booking slots to clean touch points.
Signage and floor markings will manage the flow of people throughout the fuel bar and gym, to help us maintain social distancing.
We will be switching off the use of recirculated air conditioners in the gym so that only fresh air is used. All HVAC systems and filters will be upgraded and serviced ahead of opening.
Some kit will be clearly marked out of use. This is to ensure that adequate distance is maintained between kit.
The class studio will become part of the gym to increase our space. Some equipment will be relocated in to the studio for you to use.
No personal towels will be allowed in the gym.
